I am attending the Letterman show tomorrow to see JC live. I am wishing upon a star that I will have an opportunity to meet him. Any one have any ideas/suggestions to facilitate my wish come true?? Oh yah, I may wear a t-shirt saying, "Ask me about my JC tattoo" to gain attention(I really do have a tatttoo of JC).

don't really mean to bust your bubble, but there are very few times when Jim goes out to the audience and on Letterman, you can't really see Jim from the audience. my relatives have gone to Letterman and from their seat they can't see Letterman. they just hear him. have fun at the "radio show".

Wow, that was negative...
I've been to many tapings of talk shows. If you are sitting towards the front you can be blocked by the cameras, but you can also see it on the monitors which are everywhere. The Letterman show like any other has a warm up show to get the crowd excited about the days guests. That is the time to step up and be known. they may single you out during the commercial break. Plus, Dave loves to make inside jokes during a show based on the audiences conversation before the show tapes.
Best of luck to you, I for one, am jealous!

Hey I say go for it and good luck...if it were me I would be trying to do anything to get his attention...well perhaps not anything...lol but I would do my best to at least make myself known and maybe get at least a smile from him or somthing...
Rock on!
GOOD LUCK

Yeah but it would be a dream come true.
There are not many celebs that take time to chat with their fans online, if any.

If I was Jim, I'd pretend to be just your average board poster.
