First: I'm a good fan. ^^
Please do not see this message as a way to cross a line with you, especially since you have always been more than good with your fans, regarding what you allow us to know, which is more than what we could ever hope to. And for that we're very thankful.
I'm writing in the name of all the other good fans, from here and the world who do love you, in the caring and tender way that you so much deserve.
Due to the past haters attacks on you, in the web and media, about your absolutely amazing and truthful video and song "Cold Dead Hand", we, as people you do share the same opinion than you and who care for you, are worried that our love isn't reaching your heart as fast as it should. It's the most frustrating thing about being a fan cause you do a lot of us without knowing and we can't do anything because we are powerless when it comes to certain situations , and when we can help, it's in such a little way that we feel like it isn't enough. It may still not be enough, but this is "our little try". And we'll keep on trying... Always. = )
Because, dear Jim, "it's not your highjicks we like", It's YOU!
We love your talent. You can sing, you can act, you can paint (better than Picasso I may add ^^), you can sculpt... What on Earth you can't do? But above it all we love who you are!
Reading all of those comments discussions and even participating at times we can't help thinking of the unfairness of at all. We think about your work. How your characters have moved us; How you have made us laugh through a rainy day that we use as an excuse to masquerade our pain; How you touched our hearts and put a tear in our eyes through moments filled with love and emotion that only someone with eyes as sweet and expressive like yours, can do.
We think about the hundreds, thousands of interviews and pictures, some that you shared with us in your official websites, others that we can find on the web, around the world, through all the years of your career. It's like having a flashback of your entire life and career in ours eyes and because of that, because we know how good of a person, how kind and amazing man you are, we feel it's unfair to let the hate win over the love.
I guarantee you Jim, there no good fan that can have that "flashback" and not end up closing their eyes with a stupid smile on their faces. Oh You warm our hearts Jim!
And we are proud of you! We are proud to call ourselves:
