Hello from Japan Could you tell me what is the Jim writing "spanks" on his autograph. What is it meaning? Is it same as thanks? I'm not very good at writing English.

actually spank means "to hit or give slap" ususally on bums....well i guess u must have heard in Jim's movie Ace Ventura 2 he says "spank u" instead of "thank u". so, its just a funny dialogue. sometimes people use slangs to make a converation funny or to tell a joke.

i hope u have understood. this is the best i can explain.
