waaah!...........it's on tonight and it still breaks my heart watching it........Jim's just so heartbreaking in it.......i feel his pain...... all the way through it he's just tortured....... He was ROBBED OF A GONG!!!!........he deserved an oscar nod......
Hell, i know Kate was married at the time but geez it would be easy to fall in love with him as Joel.............oh the desire to run my hands through Jims hair and give him one of my, oh so hot, head and neck massages........lol.......

Oscars are $h*++y and full of $h*+ and can crap on my front lawn. Maybe it's good that he didn't get the nod. That makes him even better than the Oscar's and much more. Get over it and move on. I stopped watching The Oscars a long time ago. They suck . . . who cares if he never gets a nod. It's not that important. He gets to skip them instead of wasting his time with a bunch of other actors with their heads up their asses.

As for the pain in that movie, I feel it too.

Jim totally outclasses a lot of past Oscar winners for sure and although he doesn't need the Academy to validate his talent, (over 2 Billion $ at the box office does that) It seems ridiculous that he can win 2 Golden Globes and be ignored by the Oscars.......
He might say he doesn't need their validation but he more than deserves it and deep down he probably craves it too..........If only to prove something to himself and give meaning to the sacrifices he made to get there.........

ESOTSP is one of my fave movies by Jim. He stated that the character of Joel was more like him in real life.
