Postby Canadian Jayne » Sun Nov 06, 2022 1:10 am

COVID anomalies has
Caused sporadic educactional
Instruction across the country
Fir past few years
Now in Ontario there
Is a strike
Not all in Ontario
But many
Thus
Causing another hiccup!
For students
Online learning
Has its place
But
Reality : There’s nothing like the real thing
Classroom instruction is good for many reasons
But

Again
We may face another
COVID and glue hiccup
Some students still wear masks
I do also in crowds when I feel humidity is low

I do have an opinion
On this strike

I think that
The one day strike
Should be just that
One day
Kids need to complete
This semester
Not by online learning either
One day shows that CUPE will
Strike again
Watch the COVID and glue progress
Outdoor and indoor learning
Should be achieved by
Careful research
And organized implementation
Parents are fed up with the forced on students online

Darned
Auto spell infil-traitor
Flue not glue
Man
(Just try and be a student online
If this gets me frustrated
How does that make them feel)
I know parents
Support the underpaid staff problems
But shudder at the thought of
Online mayhem
People should consider
Waiting till this semester is
Close to done
Then do what they have to do: it’s only my opinion tho

Thankfully
The walkout was only a
Few days

I understand
How the workers felt
When I was working in
Custodial and received
Minimum wage in a daycare
During COVID

But I enjoy cleaning
But cleaning has severe affects on the
Body
Especially at my age
