UghSon of the Mask was New Line's "attempt," I repeat "attempt" to make a buck off a big time movie without using Jim and replacing him with a Jim wanna-be in a movie that I could only describe as "Dr. Seuss on Crack."
New Line, lemme give you (and OTHER studios) some advice here... it didn't work with "Dumb and Dumberer." It sure as heck didn"t work with "Son of the Mask." DON'T DO IT AGAIN. SHADOW MANCER "Funny the things you remember, not so funny the things you forget..."

I just got this DVD and I love it!!! The four documentaries are really interesting. My favorites are "Return to Edge City" and "Cartoon Logic."
The Movie itself is special to me, because it made me become a big Jim Carrey fan. I love this movie because it has my two favorite things: Cartoons and Jim Carrey!!
I bought the dvd, and it arrived Friday.
I've seen the movie a million times, but this widescreen remastered version is so much better. The colors were sharper and crisper. On the setup, I chose the english subtitles. They were great. They spelled everything out-even when The Mask presses a little horn"A -O-O-G-A" The subtitles even worked in the special features. I had enjoyed the deleted scenes, and thought the second one was FUNNY. The documentaries are great. I've seen RETURN TO EDGE CITY twice-and plan to watch it more.CARTOON LOGIC was so good.
