Happy New Year - 2018 Will Come With A Bang
31 Dec 2017

By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)

With every new year, new hope comes. 2017 was an amazing year. Nothing is ever perfect but we are very happy and excited about all that has happen.

We began 2017 with the premiere of "I'm Dying Up Here", the series by Showtime that Jim Carrey is one of the executive producers of, in several film festivals.

In May, Jim Carrey also joined the main cast in several talk shows to promote the show. Check photos from the shows here: Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show With James Corden.

And finally June 4, it officially premiered at the Showtime network and ran the following 10 weeks.

"I'm Dying Up Here" was renewed for a second season and we will be able to see, yet again, the comedy scene of the 70's in the new year.

Also in June, we got to see the premiere of Jim's drama movie "The Bad Batch". Jim Carrey was not part of the promoting of the movie, which now also is available to watch on Blu-ray and Netflix. Don't miss to watch it.

After Summer the news kept going! In September Jim Carrey had his Art Exhibition in Las Vegas, called 'Sunshower'.

We were able to see amazing art pieces by Jim. We couldn't help but he, mesmerize…

The next months and until the official premiere in October and on Netflix, we got to see Jim at Venice Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival and this time to promote his new documentary "Jim & Andy - The Great Beyond".

The movie shows the process of Jim becoming Andy Kaufman in the biopic "Man On The Moon". This documentary is an incredible journey and a wonderful insight into a behind the scenes. You can't miss it!

You can check our Gallery for photos of the events and promoting of the film.

This month Jim attended the Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special Show, which aired on CBS.

This year was busy but 2018 promises to be even better!

We will see Jim Carrey coming back to TV in new Showtime comedy series called "Kidding" in 10 episodes. We are also looking forward for new projects, including a new book he has been writing and more art.

Jim Carrey is a man of many talents and we are both happy and excited to see them all.

We at JCO, would like to wish you all and, especially, Jim Carrey, a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We here at JCO, will promise to continue to keep you updated as more news come.
