"The Incredible Mr. Limpet" FX and schedule
12 Jul 1998

Jim Carrey has already done some FX work for "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" at Pacific Title/Mirage Studios. The company is using a cutting edge new process which motion-tracks Jim Carrey's facial movements creating a library with them. Then, using a computer model of Carrey's face while a fish, it's possible to create an animated Limpet that will look/behave like Jim Carrey.

After this preliminary work on Limpet, Carrey will turn his attention to "Man on the Moon". He will then go back to Mr. Limpet in October, to start the movie's principal photography.

The movie is tentatively scheduled to open December 1999.
