Not Again!

"Captain! Iceberg! Straight ahead!" That's the only expression I could think of when I got the news down the wire concerning Jim's upcoming film project "Lemony Snicket."

Barry Sonnenfeld, director of the film has been canned. Fired. That's two main players down and out. Surprisingly enough, Jim is STILL attached to this film as Count Olaf. On one condition: they hire a new director to his liking.

DreamWorks has now stepped in to the rocky project to take over creative controll and foreign distribution (if it ever makes it that far), since Paramount can't handle the production needs with another $5M cut from the budget.

Wouldn't it be funny, folks? A film with a definite release date, but no film to release?
