Virginia Madsen talks about "The Number 23"

Oscar nominated actress Virginia Madsen talked about her new upcomming movie The Number 23, in an interview with SCI FI Wire, in which she is co-starring with Jim Carrey. The movie is a drama about a dark journey into the mind of a man who's losing touch with reality.
She was really keen to work with Jim Carrey, not in a comedy but in a drama. She explained, "This is going to be an important movie for Jim because he is apt for the role." She further described Jim as an actor rather than a stand-up comedian. She was surprised and excited at the same time that her wish to work with Jim in a drama was fullfilled!

In The Number 23, Madsen plays the wife of Walter Sparrow (Carrey) who begins to see similarities between his life and a book. The movie also stars Rhona Mitra, Logan Lerman, Michelle Arthur, Danny Huston, Paul Butcher and Lynn Collins. The movie is all set to be released February 23, 2007.
