Walking in fame

(JCO) - It was announced earlier this week that Jim Carrey has been awarded a star to be put on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Jim Carrey will be presented with his star in a ceremony to be held during the year 2000. This will make him one of the first celebrities of the new millennium to receive the highly respected award.
Studio 20th Century Fox nominated Carrey for the award, and is sponsoring the award as well.
