New Featurette: The Story

With the release date drawing near for "Disney's A Christmas Carol", Disney has released one more featurette this time focusing on the story of the film that has been well known since Charles Dickens wrote it in 1840. At five and a half minutes, it combines what we’ve seen in the previous featurettes along with new cast interviews with Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Robin Wright, and Bob Hoskins on their characters. The film has already received some favorable reviews from critics agreeing that the story is as great as its visual feast.

Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.
