MMmhmmm....
Did you want to be a geisha when you were little?
I had understood it as the first wife.
I wanted to be a geisha mermaid vampire.

I don't know... but this is a beautiful mask!
I love the venetian masks... they are so intriguing.

Coming soon, Jim Carrey in Oedipus Rex.
That would totally SUCK for a method actor.

The local theatre company is doing Antigone. I know it's important, but Greek tragedy puts me to sleep.

hhmmm............shakespeare kinda does that to me.......... i studied it at school and university.......and yes i see the beauty etc etc ........yawn.........lol......
but in the classical tradition it can be downright confusing.......
when it's brought up to date.........now THAT i can handle.........
i confess i prefer film over theatre as a medium.............more visual.....i'm a very visual person......

You know....reading Shakespeare is kind of refreshing after winding your way through "Beowulf" and everything by Sophocles.

nope...............i specialised in Evelyn Waugh, EM Forster, Ted Hughes, ............basically the modern classics........i got enough classicism studying Philosophy at university, with Plato, Descartes etc etc.........and even then i specialised in Jean Paul Sartre...........
i can argue from a classical and a contemporary viewpoint but my heart is with the 20th century thinkers........
